2021 NYFW Review

Fashion Week is back in full force, and there’s a lot to see. Lots of pink, feathers, tall shoes, and floppy hats. It’s all very chic and funky looking. Let me share some of my favorite looks and moments of the week!

Let’s start with Alice and Olivia. There were many solids such as yellow, green, and pink. Yes, pink is in for spring! So excited. There were also a lot of patterns. Everything was so chic, bright, bold, and beautiful!

Next we have the Anna Sui show. I would describe it as very tropical with plenty of floral patterns and bold colors. A cool moment for me at this show was that I met Chase Sui Wonders.

Onto the Revolve Gallery. There was so much to see! Love Shack Fancy made an appearance. I also saw the brand For Love and Lemons. I even bought the pink dress pictured below, which you will see very soon on my Instagram.

The only thing that I wasn’t so impressed with was how the staff acted. You would think that during a pandemic where we’re lucky enough to have events again that they would be nicer. But I did have a great time seeing the new looks. I got to meet Adrienne Bailon from the Cheetah girls, Georgie Flores from Famous In Love and I ran into actress/rapper Sky Katz.

Next up is the Runway 7 Fashion / Chick.NYC Fashion Show. Everything was cute, casual, and looked comfortable. I even saw some of my friends modeling like Isabella Barrett, Amelie Anstett, and Hannah Grace Colin.

My best friend Haley and I attended the Rebecca Minkoff show together and it was not what we expected. Instead of models walking a runway, there were only photos of models. We loved the looks though! My favorite look was probably the black leather jacket that said “I heart New York”.

To end the night, we went to the Resilience and Remembrance: New York 20 Years After 9/11 with Harper’s Bazaar. For 9/11 I wore red, white and blue! Haley and I also ran into this little superstar, Taylen Biggs.

The Blonds show was on the last night of fashion week. Wearing a House of Emmanuelle choker and a purple dress by The Blonds, the iconic Paris Hilton walked in the show once again and looked fabulous as always. The look reminded me of a sparkly show girl which is right up my alley.
